It's an union of Trotskyist parties which in some of the latest elections achieved very good results. I am curious what anyone here in general, and the Trotskyists in particular, think of them.

It sounds like the beginning of a joke. So a former Healyite and two flavours of former Morenoites walk into a bar...

What it actually is is an electoral bloc, unprincipled politics of the worst sort. They weren't doing well in the elections before, so they pooled their votes in the hopes of getting elected. And some of them were. Good for them. But as for what they've done for workers, a big fat nothing.

Trots around here are all about talking about the FIT (or fighting over it). Most of the time I just pretend to listen to them - I prefer Jehovah witnesses on a Sunday morning, if I get to choose.

Anyway, apparently their elected members are donating their high wages to Zanón, an factory occupied since 2001. I remember skimming through something that said that, don't seem to be able to find it now though.

Just tell them you're a member of the Posadistas. Then stare at them until they leave.

The Workers' Party (Partido Obrero) was never healyite...

Fair enough, thanks for the correction. They formed a sort of international with the Greek EEK, which used to be quite close to Healy from what I remember, so that might have been the source of the confusion.
