I have noticed that many who admire and support Che's ideals seem to be angry young men raging against the big bad enemy, America. Many curse America. I am American. I want change to occur in America. I dream for a time America will take care of all its people whether they be Black, Asian, Hispanic and yes White. I believe the beat way change can occur is by educating one's self then educating the masses.

I agree that it's necessary to educate oneself.
there are a lot of angry kids, and wanna-be rebels out there who don't really know anything. It's sad.
Also you mention that many curse America....I've noticed that as well. On one hand it's understandable, they are simply very hateable (for lots of good reasons)...
But people shouldn't concentrate so much on the US, if you're from England for example, you have a lot more power to change things there then in America....so try.

Thanks for your input. Che once said that the revolutionary is motivated by love. That may seem odd, but if you think of it the revolutionary must love his fellow man to try to liberate his fellow man from the clutches of imperialism, commercialism, and mono-culturalism.

There are some people who have read all of Che's writings and participate in socialist discussion groups. There are some kids who bought Che posters after seeing his face on the cover of a Rage Against the Machine album. I think there's a mix. I don't wear Che shirts or buy anything with his face on it because I've seen the people who do and it's 50/50 -- some are educated, some are just angry, like you said. I did paint a portrait of Che in an art class once, though, and I ended up meeting one of my best friends.

Yeah, I agree 100% with you on the fact of stupid wanna-be rebels or people who sport Che's image just for 'kicks'. It's those types of people who distort Che's image and twist his ideas and I couldn't be more opposing to that.
Another thing, I hate my country but I love my fellow comrades and fellow man. Anything that I ever hope to accomplish in my life is dedicated to those who are opressed and those who wish to topple the opressors. So there is definetly a passion or a love that I can relate to when Che states so. That's also another reason I admire Che so much, his every action was done with a passion and a love for his fellow men.

Surely to change and reform our worldd, we must love all our fellow human beings, however ignorant they are
