I have recently heard of TERFs and did some some reading on the interwebs.
To me it seems like they are a reactionary hate group. I have read accounts of TERFs harassing trans gendered people, making death threats and even outing trans kids in high school.
Am i misunderstanding TERFs and reading biased opinions? It would seem to be supported by many #radfem tweets and blogs that there are indeed very passionate anti-trans feminists.
While reading up on this I realized I am not that that well informed on transgender news or politics.
So:
Am I missing something or are TERFs basically a hate group?
and
I would be grateful for a few suggestions on where to get regular, solid, political news about trans gender issues. A person to follow, a blog to occasionally read, a news feed whatever.
