Greetings Revleft people, I wanted to ask you all if you know of any radical leftist news sources that are updated frequently? The reason i ask is that I can't seem to find any and I want to get a good news source perspective from that point of view. I'm not talking about a leftist news source but rather a news source that comes from a leftist perspective that analyzes current events that normally wouldn't be seen on leftist websites (ie the conflict in the middle east, obama, ukraine, pop culture, music, art etc) There are two reactionary websites that I have in mind when it comes to this sort of website, they are the dailystormer which is racist and returnofkings which is sexist. Is there pretty much a leftist version of these websites?
I'm also here to ask if any of you more well-read members know of any series of books or online writings (that people cannot edit and have reliable sources) that deal with world and regional history? A lot of the time i find interesting books about history and whatnot but often they require some sort or a lot of background knowledge on the subjects at hand. I'm looking for history books that are pretty much like encyclopedias but not actually encyclopedias in the sense that they are full fledged books rather than just little entries in a big book. Pretty much what i'm asking for are history books that are easy to understand and have reliable sources that are easy to cross reference.
If it's not too much trouble I'd appreciate the following suggestions:
books (or book series) and writings that are from a completely neutral point of view.
AND
Books and writings that analyze all historical events from a leftist perspective.
Thank you all in advance.
