Hello from the American South

Hello, I am a Marxist living in a small town in Georgia. The people here don't think about anything too deeply, including politics. Upon hearing about my beliefs, they immediately assume I want to install a dictatorship and that i want everyone to be "slaves to the government".

I am interested in supporting any local groups associated with communistic ideals, and would love to know what literature you would like to suggest to expand my beliefs.
