looking at the political/non-fiction section of my bookcases i noticed that books written by females are an absolute and disgraceful minority overall but those that i do have are often among my favorites.

so yeah, a thread to bring some much needed highlight to female political/non-fic writers and to inspire each other to read more and new things.

my very short list of women written favorites;

Direct action - Ann Hanson (http://libcom.org/library/direct-action-memoirs-urban-guerrilla full book)

Partisanas, Women in the Armed Resistance to Fascism and German Occupation (1936–1945) - Ingrid Strobl (http://www.akpress.org/partisanasakpress.html)

Living my live (part 1 & 2) - Emma Goldman (http://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/emma-goldman-living-my-life full book)

I don't have a huge number of books at all but a shockingly low number written by women. The one that stuck with me the most is Angela Davis' Are Prisons Obsolete? or maybe Rosa Luxemburg's Reform or Revolution which I have in the form of a pamphlet.
