Hi everyone , Im a young Marxist girl from London and I'm looking to debate and build my knowledge on everything to do with the left.

So a question to some of you, what country do you think a communist/socialist revolution is most likely to happen?. Is it too late, will capitalism always prevail in the end?

Moved from /intro to /learning, seems to fit better.

Capitalism has existed for less than two centuries, and during this time there has been plenty of criticism, opposition, revolts, pitiful attempts at 'fixing' it.

It has shown a great resilience because of its ability to change, but it remains structurally contradictory, exploitative and inefficient, causing wars, poverty, distress and unhappiness, even in times when it's claimed it is 'working well'.
Capitalism isn't natural. Like slave society and feudalism before, it is only a historical state of things. I wouldn't bet on it lasting forever, no.

We have seen mainstream politics shifting to the left in states hit by the crisis such as Spain and Greece, but this is far from a push for communism. In Argentina, Trotskyism is a major political force, with the main force (the Workers' Left Front) following a more accurate version of Marxism than the average of the so-called communist/workers'/Marxist/socialist parties today, not having become so corrupted by the common distortions.
