Hello!

I've visited this site several times, and I thought it was about time I made a profile and introduced myself.

My name is Max (21). I'm relatively new to the revolution, and as of now I consider myself an orthodox Marxist. I'll be getting a years membership into the CPUSA (not because I agree with their tactics, but I want to climb the leadership latter and turn it into a true revolutionary Communist Party.) I'm also working on creating my own organization at my community college called the Leftist League (its main goals are demonstrations, Marxist education, spreading propaganda, and sparking political debate in the college.) I'll be working on a degree in Journalism to help further the revolution against corporate media.

I'll definitely be exploring the forum and studying worthy material on it! As well as the books I've collected.

hello

why do you think you'd be able to climb the party's bureaucracy as a revolutionary? and even if you succeed, how would you single-handedly turn it into something else

Don't bother with the CPUSA.

I'll do change the policies of the party by inviting other revolutionaries to join it, to encourage a revolutionary shift in Party members, and only together would we be able to turn the CPUSA into a revolutionary Communist Party.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

That's an interesting approach you have regarding the CPUSA. What would be your aims? What would it make into a "revolutionary Communist Party", in your opinion?

Also, what do you consider to be "orthodox" Marxism? The OM's on this site are all 'Erfurtians', that is, they want to change/transform the existing workers movement by merging the communist worldview with it. In this way it is aimed to build a mass party-movement, where the whole working class can potentially be politically active as a class-collective, fighting to establish the democratic republic (working class political hegemony, needed to build towards the communist future).

So, I'm wondering about any other perspectives on this.
