I am fed up with all the conservative ideology. I need to spend time with some thinking people. I'm a red diaper baby, a real red diaper baby and I have found my self in the California Central Valley. If you are unfamiliar with the Central Valley, think farmers. We are the nation's fruit basket and our brains are like an over ripe peach. They have never met a conspiracy theory they didn't like nor a Tea Party speech they didn't applaud. They don't even know what a red diaper baby is. So, I'm here to reaffirm my roots.

Welcome, I'm also new.

Revolutionary history & politics does have a lot of thinking. If you're interested, there's reading lists here, some you can download on pdf.

What's a red diaper baby?

Oh my gosh, has that expression gone out of date? In the 30's and 40's, a Red Diaper Baby is/was a child raised in a Communist family. Sometimes I have heard the expression "nursed with red milk."

I have no idea if it's out of date. As you use the term 'diaper' I'm assuming you're not from the same country as me. You seem to speak English pretty well, so I'll assume (though it is only an assumption) that you're from an English-speaking country. The nearest one of those to where I am is Ireland (after tomorrow, the nearest English-speaking country to where I am might be Scotland), and I don't think they say 'diaper' there either. The next nearest English-speaking country I reckon would be Canada. That's several thousand kilometres away. Other English-speaking countries (the US, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand) are all even further away. How should I know what expressions may or may not be out of date in a country several thousand kilometres from where I am, that I have never been to?
