Guatemala remains essentially a United Brands plantation. The video doesn't cover the murder of Bishop Gerardi Conedera in April 1998 during the last paroxysms of Guatemala's military-police state, for which three military figures were eventually jailed. The murderers gave drug-laced booze to the homeless guys who slept on the Bishop's front porch so they wouldn't remember the nighttime break-in when they woke up the next day.
