WMD PROBE ANNOUNCED
An independent inquiry will be launched into the intelligence used to justify the war on Iraq, Tony Blair has said.
He made the announcement during an appearance before the Commons Liaison Committee.
It follows President Bush's announcement yesterday of a similar probe in America.
"I think there are issues" about intelligence that need to be looked at, Mr Blair said.
"I think it is right...that we have a look at the intelligence that we received and whether it was accurate or not," Mr Blair said.
