a home care workers strike for $15 hour wages currently in progress., US
Like the fast food workers, home care occupations are filled with minority working class, low to unskilled workers with hard HARD working conditions, (housekeeping services to direct care of elderly; certified nursing assistants, home health aides, personal care aides and companions.) and wages that are minimal, benefits that are most of the time non-existent. Not even sure if labor is unionized.
