What do members here think of the real Patch and the Gesundheit! Institute? I was really surprised by the real Patch and his approach to medicine. I really, really like it. Contrary to the movie, the real Patch is much more than a doctor who is funny but also an activist. What do you guys think?

Although I don't really go along with so-called 'alternative' medicine (seriously, homeopathy is bullshit), I do very much like Dr. Adams' other approaches to modern medicine: his belief that health of the individual and the health of the community are intricately linked, his belief in the healing power of laughter, his belief that healthcare is a fundamental human right and should be provided in an atmosphere of compassion instead of competition.

I don't really know much about him beyond the Robin Williams movie. Any thing informative about him?
