I was wondering if anyone here has heard of them, they are a great band. If anyone has a chance I would suggest picking up a copy of (De-Loused in the Comatorium).

Pink Floyd mixed with Led Zep and tossed with Santana is one way I would describe TMV. Also if you have a chance to see them live I would not miss it. Seeing them live is AMAZING.

Better than Sparta, but not better than At the Drive-in :P

But yeah, they're great live, although they don't allow pits(hmmm. I know they didn't like people pitting back in the At the Drive-in days... I'm not sure about now...), which is kind of authorative, I mean if you pay to see them and all, and the venue has no problem with moshing, than I see no problem with it.

I really really like Mars Volta. I'm dying for a copy of Deloused but I don't have much money and there are loads of cd's I won't so I have to prioritise and I'm not sure if they'll make it on the list.

I went to Reading the day they were playing but I scarificed them for Alkaline Trio, which was amazing!

The Mars Volta are good, but a bit wanky. Us hardcore kids need more pace in our music. ATD-I, now there's a band.

ATDI Rule, one of my favourite bands ever.

I saw Mars Volta supporting the Chilis, they were pretty cool, have some good stuff.

Fair enough GR, but I like to listen to a variety of stuff, and they appeal to me.
