Now, this isn't terribly important, just trying to lighten up the place a little. I admit, I don't really know if this is the correct section to post this thread in, so if I have it wrong, mods, feel free to move it.

I've been seeing more and more of Russell Brand getting political, and I have to say, I'm fucking impressed. I mean, I don't know any other celebrities that would delve as deep into politics as Brand has, even going so far as to challenge the concept of terrorism the way Brand has in his videos - I've come across some articles on celebrities having to apologize for #FreePalestine tweets.

Some celeb news isn;t important, true, so don't go all "big deal, who cares, the celebrities are the elite" I know that very well. But still, I'd give Brand credit and thought he provided a good response to Hannity. An interesting video overall.

thanks Ola, revleft needs some 'lighter' stuff occasionally. it's bourgeois banter on a really complicated issue, but you can't really help but support Brand against Fox News.

"like their drinking cocktails of stupidity and bigotry"
"sounds delicious, where did you get yours?"
(excellent response;)

I think the problem with making fun of Sean Hannity is that the people who take him seriously aren't thinking seriously about the issues he's talking about anyways.
