It seems as though there are very few Biographies of Che, Fidel, and Raul available at the public library. I would like to know of any good, objective biographies of any of these three, detailing the Cuban revoloution, and the events leading up to it.
Thanks in advance.

Jon Lee Andersons' Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life is the best iv read but if you want an indepth look in to ches own toughts you have to read his jurnels in the order he wrote them ie ''motorcycle diaries '' and so on and you get a good view of how his toughts developed throughout his travels .

Anderson's is good and this may just be my opinion but i think its biist and he tries to overplay his role in things but it is very good and very detailed

The Che handbook by Hilda Barrio and Gareth Jenkins, obviously not as indepth but far far far far more accessible and easy to read, if you dont have the time or patience to read andersons try that.

Maybe posting a sticky with recommended Che biographies would be a better idea than posting a full article of a Che biography. Dont you guys think? If there are those newbies that truly want to know about Che, they wont mind reading a book! I loved the motorcycle diaries. No cliff notes, not a tv cocumentary, all personal visiuals.
