The jailer who was responsible for the injuries got fired, but unsurprisingly there was no action taken against other police involved in his arrest and processing.

It got coverage on the local media as seen up there, but unsurprisingly some of the local news tried character assassinations by referring to Bishop's record rather than staying focused on the current incident.

What's stupid is that in their release to the press about the jailer's firing, they said that the jailer had used the takedown move incorrectly, so they were trying to justify use of force regardless.

Denton fucking texas is hell. the cops there are more dickish than any other place. I lived there for 2 years during college. Fuck that place.
(No offense to anyone that happens to be living there. I just hate that fucking place.)
