Yeah, they do that now and then. I used to watch Comandante's speeches on C-SPAN, back when he was still President of Cuba. They also had Chavez's speeches sometimes iirc. They only do it to look open, it's not that they actually care or are progressive by any means. C-SPAN is shit most of the time. Just like how the old Current channel was, or how NPR or PBS can be at times.
