I have a question and a comment about something about the american leftist movements. How come the left of the USA spends a great deal amount of energies and time attacking many bad things, consequences of the capitalist political system, but not enough energies in party building. In creating a vehicle, a tool for the oppressed to get out of oppression, which is the creation of labor parties, or a powerful leftist front of all people who hate capitalism in America.

Don't you guys think that the main goal of the left should be to rise to the government? And I think that the american left as a whole spends more energies on isolated issues like GMOs, Monsato, Green Energy, immigration reform etc. than on rising to government power. It seems to me that many leaders of the left think that there can be any change outside of power. I think that the left needs more political will to rise to The White House, more will to power.

The main goal of the revolutionary Left should be to support the working class in abolishing capitalism and the state.

Because a) "party building" is stupid and b) "party building" in America is even more stupid. That's why. The Americans seems pretty decent at getting angry when properly provoked. All that's need is just a simple spark to start the fire. Like that one black fella who got shot in Boston and started the original American revolution. Issue campaigns however I feel are always important and are somewhat neutral and it's easy to get non-Leftists involved as opposed to handing out news papers and using words the layman probably never heard or could recall.
