Hello all, as most have probably now read or heard the 20th March 2004 will see global anti war demonstrations again. As an addition to this the Progressive Webgroup Alliance is also inviting submissions from interested people into online actions which can be taken on this day to coincide with the "real world" actions. (I do understand that real world actions cannot be substituted by online activities alone, however this course is particularly useful for those who cannot get to demonstrations for whatever reason.)

So, please do provide some ideas at http://progressive.proboards24.com/index.c...&num=1075551403 (http://progressive.proboards24.com/index.cgi?board=OnlineAct&action=display&num=1075551403) and let's really get something happening online as well as in the real world for the 20th March!

best wishes

Why is there such snobbery like this? This is a genuine attempt to provide an alternative form of protest to people who cannot attend the "real world" demonstrations. This is not an advert or spam, and has been posted on the forum, because the Che-Lives community is allied to the Progressive Webgroup Alliance.

I think as a whole the left is a formidable force in the world today, and we should not really be arguing among ourselves over whether we believe an alternative form of protest is right or wrong. You may not wish to be involved in the actions, and you have that right, but please do not belittle those who are actively attempting to provide another means of protest.

regards.

woh there! Don't come off on me. If were the one to originally post that message, you should then realize that when the link was first up, all that it was was an advertisement. I apologize for now it is actually a link, however do you think I would have disregarded this webpage had it not been an advertisement?

There is some confusion and misunderstanding here I guess...the link that PWA provided is NOT just spam, it leads to an actual thread in another forum, the forum is just full of advertisements because it's hosted on at proboards24 free of charge...
