Only new to Socialism, while I agree with what is set out in the Communist Manifesto, I feel that there is a lot I need to learn and understand before I can actively fight capitalism! As I mentioned in my introduction paragraph, I have gaping holes in my understanding of socialism, and it is prevalent in debates I have had with capitalists and fascists. Can anyone give me a recommended reading list for socialism?
I setup a startup reader list here (http://www.revleft.com/vb/blog.php?b=7728). But that is a bit tailored to a specific set of politics within the rather broad tradition of Marxist politics. It might help to know what you'd like to learn about?

I recommend MY article :P https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByEltTml6VA0WDI0a1ZoTS14ZTA/edit?usp=sharing
It's a bit of a primer into class struggle. I also recommend "What is Communist Anarchism".

Dear comrade
I suggest that you read the following material:
Principles of Communism (https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/11/prin-com.htm). F. Engels.
Wage-Labor and Capital (https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/wage-labour/index.htm). K. Marx.
The Russian Revolution (https://www.marxists.org/archive/luxemburg/1918/russian-revolution/index.htm). R. Luxemburg.
Value, Price and Profit (https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1865/value-price-profit/index.htm). K. Marx.

I suggest going trough An Anarchist FAQ, it is a very extensive book, lots of arguments, counter-arguments, quotes and references, but it is also very easily accessible and readable. Here's the online version:

Here is a link to a pamphlet PLP put out on Political Economy. It is concise report on capitalism, communism and the transition from one to the other. It also has sections on racism and sexism.

Capitalism at a Dead End by Fred Goldstein is a good place to go.
