I've been sick the last few days. I've had a very sore throat, a sore neck, the feeling like I'm getting an ear infection in both ears, sweating and feeling over heated to all of a sudden having miserable chills. The other symptoms have subsided, but my throat stings pretty bad and I've spit up green phlegm as well as my neck aching worse. What's up with me?

Btw, i'm sick atm too. Coughing all the time (sounds like i'm dying) and spitting up phlegm goes for me as well. And i have no fucking clue where it comes from.

Hopefully you don't have construction work to do like me, sick, achy, and work don't mix.

Sounds like a sinus infection. If you're working outside you've been breathing in all the tree pollen and I feel like there's more of it than usual this year.
Edit: I should point out that I am not a qualified medical person, I skipped out on work to get stoned in a public park today so keep in mind who this is coming from. go see a doctor if it gets worse

If you can't afford to see a doctor or get a prescription, the best you can do is get as much rest as possible, relax outside in some sunshine, eat some fresh fruit to give you vitamins, drink plenty of water (no sugary liquids) and get a hearty meal or two down you. If the symptoms don't subside after a while then I'm afraid you'll have to bite the bullet and go see a doc. I hope you get well soon. :)

Yes, it's obviously some kind of upper respiratory infection, as to the cause, that would have to be tested, but such things are never tested unless there is particular reason for that. Your period of illness is not particularly long, unless the infection drags over a week and then some there is no reason to be worried in the absence of intensifying symptoms.
Intermittent sweating and chills is a classical symptom of fever, and I am surprised you are not aware of this. There's obviously an irritation in your sinuses and respiratory tract, most likely caused by a common cold virus or bacteria, and you can continue to experience phlegm and sore throat for a further number of days.
Drink water and get some throat lozenges or whatever.
