I created the attached image to use in my signature, before I knew we couldn't use images in our signatures. Not wanting it to go to waste, I thought I would share it here. Enjoy!

Nice but historically also a bit contradictinary, the 3 arrows where the logo of the social-democrat (sdap) paramilitary "ironfront" that was not only anti-fascist but also distinctively and violently anti-communist. Why not just use the AFA symbol that has its roots in the anti-fascist groups of the communist KPD and has been updated long ago with a black or red/black flag to include anarchists? ( http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifaschistische_Aktion)
I know the 3 arrows symbol is popular in the US thanks to strike anywhere and other punk bands using it but its a bit out of place for revolutionaries because of its distinctivly reactionary origins.

Hmm, I really wasn't aware of Iron Front's anti-communism (I really only new them as being anti-fascist and as the creators of the symbol). Without that context, I just thought of arrows as looking better than the AFA symbol. Incidentally, the redblack flag was sort of last minute. The original conception for this design used a red solidarity fist, and later the circle-sickle-hammer-A.

Iron front was an SPD para military organization. The arrows supposedly stood for anti monarchist, anti fascist and anti bolshevist.
These days however the logo is also used by antifascists/anarchists and being repossessed to have a different meaning. (also note here that some anarchists are also anti Bolshevist) to mean the pillars opposing fascism....divorcing it (or at least attempting to) from its history origins. It is however still associated historically with social democracy.
Personally when mass Antifa actions are held you can consider yourself safe if separated from your own group when you encounter this symbol if you aren't a Bolshevik.
