I've recently started reading this book and enjoying it a lot. 'Our Word is Our Weapon' is a collection of writings by Subcommandante Marcos which are idealistic and inspiring, a nice read for devoted revolutionaries who have ever felt hopeless in this Capitalist world. For those that do not know he was the spokesman of the EZLN, a broadly Leftist, Libertarian Revolutionary movement based off the works of Emiliano Zapata Salazar and 'Zapatismo', a group which attempted a Mexican Revolution founded in the plight of the Chiapas indigenous population being oppressed. While the group failed to achieve a revolution on a national scale they gained widespread support and continue to defend the rights of the indigenous population.
I'd say it's a good read for any Leftist in general, not really deep in theory but very inspiring and good for an interest in modern anti-Imperialism also. It's also worth a read simply for it's poetic value, as a piece of literature it's impressive and Marcos was certainly talented enough a writer to turn words into a weapon.
