New Red Army has appeared in Ukraine

(A better translation would be appreciated.) The army's goals are "to overthrow the power of the oligarchs and the nationalists" and to establish democracy and socialism after the overthrow of the reactionaries.

Considering their current situation, armed resistance is long overdue. This "Ukrainian Red Army" seems to be an actual group, the question is how capable they are to actually pose a threat to their enemies. It will be interesting to follow this development.

Let's hope they don't segregate themselves from a Popular Front if other Leftist militias start to appear; this is assuming they are what they say they are I might add.

Well so far the Ukrainian army with all its military training and hardware seems to do them little good so civilian militia's could be quite effective especially considering the low morale of the regular troops.

I just hope they will study the methods of the Iraqi insurgents and similar resistance fighters because mistakes will be incredibly costly.

As much as i want the eastern Ukrainians to be free of foreign and nationalist elements i fear that Russian weapons and experts would save lives but putin will abandon these people to the facists.
