(Man, I sure do make the most thought-provoking threads, don't I?)

I love spicy food. I love food that has the nice, pungent bite of chili peppers. I genuinely enjoy the flavor of chili peppers themselves, not just the heat.

So I wanna ask you guys, what's your favorite spicy foods?

I have a couple of personal favorites. I love spicy chicken wings, cajun gumbo, Jamaican jerk chicken (or pork, or beef, etc.), Kung Pao, spicy fajitas, General Tso's Chicken, and pretty much anything that involves or is covered in Sriracha sauce.

(......I really like chicken).

I like spicy foods as well. When I cook, some people in my family complain it's spicy. When it's far from spicy to me. Whether it's soul food, latin food, or asian food. If it's spicy, it's good.

I guess my favorite is chilaquiles. They're not incredibly spicy, the way my mom makes them, but they're good. Also some spicy variations of pollo en mole, which I've noticed that many cultures have their own personal take on.

Oh god, yes, crawfish is divine. But it is also very VERY messy. There's a reason they hand out bibs at a crawfish boil, 'cuz that shit's gonna be all over you.

It's also like one of the few foods on the planet that has this whole procedure on eating it. "Pinch the tail, suck the head".
