I see that an electronic version of an old SPGB pamphlet published in 1934 "The Socialist Party - its Principles and Policy" has just been produced. Despite being somewhat dated in some ways it is actually quite a nice read and in accessible language

Check it out here

Thanks! I was planning on joining the World Socialist Party of the United States, so this will be a good read.

WSPUS (at http://wspus.org/), I imagine, would have quite a lot of archived material themselves - though not as extensive as the archive of the British companion party - the SPGB. They used to publish a journal called "Western Socialist" (which has now been replaced by the World Socialist Review) which contained some very interesting material as I recall, having obtained a few backnumbers..

I'm working at getting Western Socialist online.

Where (and when) would they be available? There were a number of excellent and very readable articles (particularly on economics and history) which could very well be pinned on this site as basic learning material. There was a good one on the economics of exploitation that I can recall

Available online, dunno where, probably scribd, issuu, archive etc., maybe lulu if you're lucky. No idea when, could be 2015 best case scenario, probably by 2017. But Spanner and Common Voice would be good PDFs to put online too.

Just out of curiosity - is there any chance you might be able to put Spanner and Common Voice in PDF format online as well? Spanner has never been online to my knowlege and Common Voice was made inaccessable after a pretty devastating virus attack

I'd like to but couldn't put a timescale on it.
