After reading a topic on the Manic Street Preachers id like to know what exactly happened to Paul Robeson and his battle with the CIA ?

My angle on this is complete ignorance, so please enlighten me. :)

I am not sure if you are referring to Paul Robeson's supposed suicide. There is an aticle in the nation
do a google search 'paul robeson CIA' by his son explaining his difficulties in finding out the truth.

he sang over to wales, even though his passport was confiscated by the cia. he also learnt ohter languages, and sang in those languages. a good bloke.

There were some good aspects to him, but he also had quite a bad side. He was a Stalinist, and didn't have approved of whatever ill deeds were committed towards the Trotskyists, whether by Stalin or the FBI.

This story is scary ......... anyone opposing the USA might recieve the same treatment from the cia , no one in this world is safe .

does anyone have more info about ( CIA’s top-secret MK-ULTRA “mind control” program ) ....... i read that in the article that zippy had posted .

The things that were mentioned in that article are quite worrying, the things that could and have been done are really difficult to get your head round.
