They are not called fire ants as the youtube video suggests but tawny crazy ants.

I have been getting a lot of small black ants where I live lately. That's more than most summers. This place is a termite-eaten bungalow bunghole, giving the ants easy access. At least there are also a lot of spiders.

Probably Argentine ants. Those fuckers are nuts. Don't sting, though.

Carpenter Ants are a scourge where I live. The only sign of an active colony are piles of sawdust inside walls. A colony can have over 60,0000 ants. Quite scary when doing renovations and they are suddenly revealed.
