Need some advice or simplified beginners reading material to begin with..

I have read the Communist Manifesto.

Thanks. I know there might be tons of threads like this, sorry for not taking extra effort, didn't have sufficient time to do a search.

I think that asking questions will be the best way. :)

On Marxist politics generally. I'd recommend going through these in order from top to bottom. Most are pretty short:

http://marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/11/prin-com.htm Freddy Engels - The Principles of Communism
http://marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1880/soc-utop/index.htm Freddy Engels - Sociaism: Utopian and Scientific
http://marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1913/mar/x01.htm Vladimir Lenin - The Three Sources and Three Components Parts of Marxism
http://marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1875/gotha/index.htm Karl Marx - Critique of the Gotha Programma
http://marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1917/staterev/index.htm Vladimir Lenin - The State and Revolution
http://marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1920/lwc/index.htm Vladimir Lenin - "Left-Wing" Communism: An Infantile Disorder
http://marxists.org/archive/plekhanov/1895/monist/index.htm Georgi Plekhanov - The Development of the Monist View of History

On capitalism:

http://marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1916/imp-hsc/index.htm Vladimir Lenin - Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism
http://marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/wage-labour/index.htm Karl Marx - Wage Labor and Capital
http://marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1867-c1/index.htm Karl Marx - Capital (vol. 1)

In case you need more motivation to read the last one:

http://marxists.org/archive/serge/1926/repression/index.htm Victor Serge - What everyone should know about repression

I know it's a big list, so if you have to only pick a couple, try Socialism: Utopian and Scientific, and Serge's work on repression. Feel free to ask any questions you may have! :)

Some mandatory:

Engels' Principles of Communism (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/11/prin-com.htm)

Marx's Wage Labour and Capital (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/wage-labour/index.htm) - Value, Price and Profit (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1865/value-price-profit/index.htm) - Preface to A Contribution to the Critic of Political Economy (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1859/critique-pol-economy/preface.htm) - Theses on Feuerbach (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1845/theses/index.htm)

These should help for a first and overall glance (they are longer):

Mandel's Introduction to Marxist Economic Theory (http://www.marxists.org/archive/mandel/1967/intromet/index.htm)
Paul Sweezy's Theory of Capitalist Development

Keep in mind that there have been critiques to Mandel's and Sweezy's works, so it's always better to stick with Marx and Engels.

Folks posted a lot of good suggestions in this thread so far so I'm also gonna say that you shouldn't hesitate to post threads for specific questions you come up with while reading.
