View Full Version : Tacos are the best

Tacos are one of the best foods, I don't really want to have to eat anything else and I have a really hard time not just eating them until my stomach gets sore. Mostly I use lentils for the filling, cheese, corn, tomatoes, maybe some salsa, and lots of hot sauce, but this time I used mushed black beans and it was even better. I make my own fresh tortillas from corn flour, I'm really bad at it and it takes forever but it's worth it.

I've always been more of a burrito guy myself.

You homies heard of tortas? Those are the bomb! Can't live without'em. I like meat, but even the vegetarian ones kick ass. My cousins make some nice ass ones.

Honestly, Mexican food has never been my favorite cuisine. I've always been a Chinese or Italian king of guy. More fond of Fettuccine or Kung Pao.

I like tacos, and love all Mexican and Latin foods. I miss talking to my Latino coworkers about the food and drink of their home countries, at my old jobs. Give me some good carnitas or tacos with a Mexican beer, and I'm all set. Negro Modelo, Bohemia, Sol, Tecate, or Dos Equis Amber, all are good. Corona, Modelo Especial, and Dos Equis Special, are fine as well.

I'm still trying to figure out who pulled off the tortilla "wrap" coup.
Isn't it just a burrito of a different color?

I eat burritos, they are more portable, but ultimately I usually find tacos more fulfilling, especially when I make fresh tortillas.
Arepas are also pretty dope.

I grew up on Mexican food. No other food holds such a special place in my heart. (except when I put my mind back in the gutter :o:o:wub:)

Look at all this anglo appropriation of Mexican and south American cuisine (yeah I get some people here might be of Mexican descent; it's a joke).
You know what, nothing of the sort can beat the almighty kebab.

Those look good. They look like tortas or gorditas. I tasted the Colombian ones before.

I've heard of people arguing that eating a certain culture's food is appropriation but they were always saying how insane these people (who allegedly exist) that say silly shit like that seem. Indeed that is a joke (a ridiculous joke) and if you weren't joking I'd think you were a joke but you were so you aren't. Also, you got it right my dad is chilango.

naaaaawwww I like some kabobs, but nothing compares to the basic aroz y frijoles con nopales, that is how I roll.
One thing I can say is that I have never met a non-mexican who could cook mexican food for shit. It is one of those things you have to be raised with.
