This reminded when one of my friends called lenin john Lenin lel.
Anyway I think most of the songs that we could call "socialist" were a utopia with imagine being the most known.

If you mean a stupid hippie utopia, then yes, sure, that is what Imagine portrays.

That is my point yeah.
Stupid as it's utopian not that it would be stupid if that existed?

Also liberals favorite song because it says to the workers
"Imagine and it will happen but don't do anything to make socialism happen".

Worth to have this piece of truth posted twice here even though all I'm doing is quoting.

Since when do we evaluate something on the basis of how it's misrepresented by liberals?

Is there any other kind of utopia?
But then why shouldn't we get on board with a vision of society where religion and private property have been abolished and "all the people" live in peace?
But then why shouldn't we get on board with a vision of society where religion and private property have been abolished and "all the people" live in peace?not militant enough for a proper radical
like ok don't get me wrong john lennon was really shit and the song is like an anthem for annoying hippies but you need to get over yourself if you somehow disagreed with the core message

"all the people" live in peace?
There is no value to peace. There can be no peace until the proletarian victory in the class war, and this won't come about through imagining anything while drifting on soft summer breezes under frizzy clouds while high on some kind of natural narcotic and buying fair trade coffee and throwing coins at beggars to make yourself feel good.
The inherent suggestion of immature imaginings regarding some vague statements are inherent reactionary exactly because of this. There is of course nothing wrong with imagination and dreaming oneself away; but when the focus here becomes to imagine this vapidity, rather than propagating the violent destruction and overthrow... then yes, it is shit.
It's also a really fucking bland song, the hippie lyrics aside.

Lol, you're so hard. :)
I don't like the song either but "the living in peace" Lennon sings about belongs to the imagined utopia where there is no private property, countries or religion. You can't read off from this song lyric to his position on fighting inequality or whatever. Not that we should be looking to rock stars as political guides, anyway.

Pretty sure this imagined world is post proletariat victory

Peace not war, love not hate, communism not capitalism

Communism is war and hate, rage and violence, fanaticism and intransigence.
Since when do we evaluate something on the basis of how it's misrepresented by liberals?Since Nader and Sawant.

Communism is a self-regulating, post-scarcity, classless society. It is a non-alienated social order which allows the expression of our full humanity. One could almost say it is a place where there are no countries, no religion, no possessions, and where all the people live in peace. Imagine that.
