View Full Version : My manifesto for a new party

Never before has the tradition of radicalism in America been so stagnant while the atmosphere itself has been so volatile. Unemployment is at an all time high, racism in our society has revealed itself in our possessing the highest number of prisoners, these slave plantations feeding a brutal system that is becoming harder and harder to avoid.
Now for the young activist who is disgruntled by the low prospect of finding employment, a disgusting rape culture and with realizing that his interests lie against the ruling class and the Kyriarchy it promotes, he decides, like 20% of the United States at this juncture, that Socialism is the best alternative to how we currently do things. All over America, the people are becoming more and more disgruntled by this system that discriminates against non whites, attacks the rights of unions and lets it's people starve, all the while becoming more and more nauseatingly commercialization.
With this, I posit that the primary issue that faces Socialism in the United States is not a lack of interest, but a lack of proper organization, a lack of diversity and an inability to behave like were not historically dated and irrelevant.
A classic issue facing socialism now is simply the fact that most communist groups are prone only to heavy in-fighting or in-group drama, and a few have been caught doing awful things (e.g. the recent rape cover up scandal plaguing the ISO). If I may say so, and forgive a young comrade, but splits get extremely childish sometimes, and the inability to build a genuine united front of leftists is the greatest embarrassment to us all.
Further, the lack of minorities, women or members of the LGBTAQI+ community is a major factor that holds back Marxism in this country. While, I love my fellow white guy activists we need to mix it up a bit and make more genuine attempts to garner support from opressed communities. This does not mean borderline-rascist pandering attempts to “market” to blacks a'la the Revolutionary Communist Party postering ghettos with flyers that read “Yo, get down with the struggle”. I mean genuinely opening a dialogue with oppressed peoples and reaching out to them as equals, and be entirely open and willing to listen to their ideas. This sounds painfully obvious, but ive seen plenty of nasty examples of the opposite. Some lovely comrades of mine operate free classes on Marxism-Leninism that have been a big hit in the community. In a racially tense climate like ours, it will be at the very least refreshing to open up an honest conversation about race and class.
Finally, and this ones directed at you Ismail. All the Russophile bullshit has got to stop. Its one thing to pull ideas and theories from Russian revolutionaries, but to be frank, no theorist from the 1800s or early 1900s is going to have all the answers and it's asinine to try and apply them entirely to the modern day in addition to it being unappealing to people who don’t have some borderline-aspergic tendency towards obsessively looking at Socialist-Realist artwork and quoting Stalin.
With this, I hereby found the Outsider Party of the United States and offer the following theses.
1. Capitalism fucking sucks. Most of us are agreed on this and thats enough agreement for a genuine coalition.
2. In standing for human liberation, we mean liberation from suffering and opression and whether the hand inflicting harm is Socialist or Capitalist, it matters little when blood is involved. With this, we do not support the DPRK, Assad or Neo-Fascist mobs in Russia. We maintain solidarity with the people of Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam and with genuine liberation movements.
3. Racism, patriarchy, homophobia and general bigotry aren’t “just class” and have to each be fought in both our hearts, on paper and potentially, in the streets. We take major inspiration from the Black Panther Party (the real one) and all genuine attempts from oppressed communities to alter the cruel course of society.
4. The principle of refusing to associate with Kyriarchical parties and ideals is one that should apply both globally and locally. This means refusing to support the Racist government of Syria and it also means condemning the anti-Semitic, homophobic rhetoric of the New Black Panther Party.
5. Corporate culture is one of the most disgusting and de-humanizing aspects of modern capitalism. Daily we are associated by coke-drinking polar bears, Cute women with retro haircuts selling car insurance and mainstream television like Duck Dynasty. As such, we support the independent creation of art, literature, music and all expression free of profit motive as a great resistance to capitalism.
6. J-Pop is best music. Refusing to agree with this will get you purged (just kidding)
7. Rape and sexual assault is something that absolutely requires prioritization as something that needs to be totally combatted, along with all of the small microagressions that men commit against womens bodies all the time. Creating a free society requires elimination of social acceptance of sexual predation and total elimination of the patriarchy.
8. Appeals to the lowest common denominator is another major crime of capitalism. Because societys most common people are pretty dumb, naturally the things sold to them are pretty stupid, thus explaining bullshit like Snuggies. We must not bow to the pressure to “sell” Socialism by being banal.
9. Traditional Mores are one of this societies most disgusting tools of oppression. We must take an absolute stance against megachurch Christianity, any homophobia or patriarchy. One of Stalins greatest failings was to restore anti-sodomy laws and traditional gender roles for women, undermining the progress made by Lenin and ensuring that any progress towards true communism would be lost in an odyssey of blood, iron and dare I say, Fascism.
10. This all sounds pretty arty and annoying at times. Still action is incredibly important and we refuse to end up like Crimethinc or its predecessor, the Situationist International and be left in the academic dungeon.
11. The lowwage worker and the innercity teen are the true fodder for the mill in Modern Capitalism, the poor teen being given crumbs while being fed consumeristic images and being fed into the prison system for slave labor, the low wage laborer slaving away over a hot fryer at McDonalds or the Walmart worker interfacing with zombies for minimum wage both deserve greater attention from the Socialist movement. While backing major unions and working with them is highly important, in our current system it is these workers and the lumpenproleteriat that suffer the most and feed the most to our current system of doing things. Further, this is the one class in America that is growing, with so many well paying factory jobs either automating or going overseas.
12. I have no intention of formulating a thesis on how a communist state should be run and would like to wait until I obtain some members to really discuss this. Needless to say, im not letting in anybody who wants a Stalinist Dictatorship or is willing to have his enemies killed, because while I can take getting called a “Revisionist”, an ice pick in the head is the last thing I need.
13. You can wrap yourself in a red flag, you can vogue all you want, but you dont look cool in that Maoist uniform babe. Especially if you happen to be a Canadian neckbeard.

Socialism, ladies and gentlemen.

For the sake of being humble amidst this huge expression of my arrogance, I should add that by "we", I mean "I".

By this I primarily mean middle class stupidity. I think a more exact state of my views would be that modern consumerism has made alot of people into fucking morons who buy shit like Snuggies. We have to liberate people from the iron clutch of stupid things!

Fortunately we have you to liberate workers from their own stupidity.

This is bad and you should feel bad.

It is isnt it?:(

I got really stuck on whether I felt like making a bunch of mean spirited jokes about the things that frustrate me about the movement and making a genuine political statement, so I tried to do both and sort of failed.

Ive had this account a really lonbg time and am lazy with changing things. Actually, this would be hated by the WWP for its condemnation of the DPRK

Yeah I noticed that, but I take every opportunity to take cheap shots at the WWP.

At this point I do too. I think they are worth more than alot of US Marxist groups but that does not keep me from thinking their foreign policy attitudes are shit
