Recently I've been reading Tocqueville finally, after a few years of putting it off, and a passage in his introduction caught my attention.
Tocqueville says that great democratic revolution is taking place and that it is the most continuous, the oldest, and the most permanent fact known in history.
Is it just me or is Tocqueville agreeing with Marx/Engels here?
