Hello all.

I'm a worker and organizer from San Francisco (born and raised).

I am a dock worker unloading and loading big rigs, a shop steward for the International Teamsters and a member of the Irish Republican Socialist Committees of North America.

I come from a long revolutionary tradition on both sides of my family (Irish and Guatemalan) with family members in the Óglaigh na hÉireann and my cousin being one of the founding members, and leaders, of the Organización Revolucionario del Pueblo en Armas.

I'm an adherent of dialectical materialism and a supporter of the revolutionary breakthroughs of Marx, Lenin and Mao and believe the applications of their theories would greatly help to painstakingly guide revolutionary movements throughout the globe.

What is the task the IRSC sets itself? I've never heard of it before.

Thanks!

The IRSCNA has actually been around since the mid-1980s and a few years after its existence was accepted as part of the Irish Republican Socialist Movement by at the 1986 (or so) Ard Fheis of the Irish Republican Socialist Party. The IRSCNA acts on behalf of the IRSP and seeks to propagate the Irish Republican Socialist Movement to those in Canada and the U.S. The IRSCNA also raises funds for POWs of the Irish National Liberation Army and acts on behalf of the IRSP in building solidarity relations with anti-imperialist organizations across North America.

Essentially these are the tasks the IRSCNA sets itself as well as the IRSP setting for the IRSCNA.
