Me and Q want to get a group of revlefters together to play EU4 multiplayer. We'll most likely start off with vanilla. Post in this thread if you're interested and we'll message you
For those unfamiliar: Europa Universalis 4 (http://www.europauniversalis4.com/) :)

I'd offer to try, but I'm so terrible at Paradox games (though I love them dearly) ;(

Awesome this gets our core group up to 4 people, I'll make a group so we can discuss times and countries, other people feel free we probably can try fitting one or two more people in

I guess I could give it a try, then.

Stupid question, but will not having a mic be a gigantic problem?

The game doesn't require sound and steamchat has a text component so it should be fine
Also I invited you all to a group so we can coordinate times and countries

I might be interested if I ever actually learn how to play.

If you want I'll consider doing one on one sessions in the multiplayer with noobies to help them

So it's basically a really convoluted version of Risk?

If by convoluted you mean fucking kick ass then yes, that's exactly what it is.

EU4 is alright. Risk is absolute wank.

Risk sucks. EUIV is like Victoria II on steroids.

I wish I had played more planetside 2 with #ff0000 that was a potentially fun game

I'd be interested too. I don't have that game, but i'll think of buying it. When i got it, i will tell you. And as Planetside2 is mentioned, i'm playing that too, so if anyone of you is interested in kicking some ass together -> send me a message. But i don't want to focus the discussion on that for now, since it's the wrong thread for that

Oh god I had a hard time getting into EUIII. Is EUIV much different?
Damn you paradox

Oh FUCK YES. I have no idea what this is, but it sounds right up my alley. Let me look it over for a bit first.
EDIT: Nevermind, I do not want to spend money. Sorry, lol should have looked at that first.

I would consider this. Ive never managed to play a Paradox game online, but I've spent probably over 500 hours playing Paradox titles over the years.

I'm up for this and any other grand strategy game really.

Damn you paradox
It's a slightly different beast but if you managed to work out EU3 you should have no problem with the new one, if anything I find it's more forgiving.
