Did anybody see one of their videos where they said an Indian Socialist politician wanted to hang rape victims? Except i read somewhere else the politician was actually quoting someone else who said that and not expressing his own views. Seriously do they even research their stories?!

Also, they routinely misuse the words socialism and communism which is hella annoying. But I still watch them because i can't find any good 'news' stations

Alternative news is hard to come by.

I quite like the Unfilter (http://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/show/unfilter/) podcast. It's not socialist, but they do a lot of the NSA and related coverage and in general have a sharp view on contemporary events.

For Dutch people there is De Correspondent (https://decorrespondent.nl/home), which is a new journalistic initiative that is financed by readers and has no ad funding. It focuses on background journalism.

For world news (well, mainly British stuff) from a socialist angle I read the Weekly Worker (http://cpgb.org.uk). But that is somewhat limited (once a week, only 12 pages).

And besides all that I also scan normal headlines of diverse newssources and read what's possibly interesting.

As I understand it, these people are bourgeois liberals, more annoying than the norm (which is something of an accomplishment). As for the Indian "Socialist", as I recall it that was some social-democrat, so meh, it's like they said mean things about the American Democrats. It might not be good journalism, but it isn't some kind of ideological warfare, just factions of the bourgeoisie sniping at each other.
