To be able to post links or images your post count must be 100 or greater. You currently have 18 posts.Damn... Was going to post to the wikipedia article and a picture from the animation. Anyways:
I came to think of this guy just now for some reason.
I feel like discussing. What can we as dedicated revolutionaries learn from this fucked up yet very realistic character, that seems important during this strange time in history......?

I don't think we can draw many conclusions from Animal Farm tbh.

And why is it that you cannot "draw any conclusions" from one of the greatest leftist political classics in history...?

He is an analogy for Stalin, while Snowball is for Trotsky. The conclusion to be drawn is that revolutionaries must be watchful and have mechanisms in place to prevent a bureaucracy from developing and hijacking revolutionary organisations, movements and societies.
The conclusion we should not draw is the one that the bourgeoisie wants us to draw from this book (and 1984 - which is why they have been widely distributed to schools etc), ie that socialist revolutions always lead to dictatorship, and thus are pointless/counterproductive.

If Napoleon and Snowball were analogies for revleft members or famous contemporary political figures, which ones would they be? it could basically be anyone trying to use a real revolutionary movement for their own benefit or to advance their own personal agenda on the expense of the movement.
what kind of measures can we take to pinpoint, filter out & remove/eliminate these symbolic 'pigs'?
also my thanks button seems to have disappeared?
