Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who has been in power for 15 years and is confined to a wheelchair, has won a fourth term with 81.53 percent of the vote, Interior Minister Tayeb Belaiz announced on Friday.

This is the same bullshit that has been going on for years. Directly in the workers party exists twice as many full members as the votes they got so how about you use your fucking brain and actually read into situations to expand your own petty understanding of the world. 81% is a joke, I can't believe they would even try to pull this. The bourgeois opposition itself released evidence that showed the results were planned. The rallies the PT organize include millions of people in and of themselves. The largest labor unions are also part and parcel of the PT and they themselves have millIons of members. So you're useless, way to promote the neoliberal agenda so you could try to "burn" me.

Geis, it never ceases to amaze me how thoroughly you delude yourself.
These parties you cheer for will never win, or, should hell freeze over and they win, they'll resume business as usual.

You really don't know what you're talking about.

I don't see why the worker's party would even participate in such elections, besides aren't they more of a loyal opposition, having denounced the protesters against Bouteflika as "trying to manipulate the social discontent, which is real, to divert it in the service of imperialism"
And broody, if you want to convince us of their revolutionary credentials, you could back up what you are saying with documents from said party and their recent actions.

What are you talking about? Which protesters did the PT denounce? I guarantee if you look them up with google you'll find adequate information. If you know how to research a topic by finding independent sources you can get information but I'll get links. It isn't like the PT is new, the mainstream news doesn't talk about it though, just like how they didn't talk about the Bolsheviks, so it isn't really surprising that knowledge about them isnt widespread. Think about it like this, their leader is the first woman to run for president in the entire Arab world. The UGT which has millions of members is completely run by the PT, it is the political arm of the workers movement.

If you read the actual article, she wasn't talking about protesters; she was specifically referring to the RCD (a political party).
Here is the entire paragraph:
Clearly, the so-called National Coordination for Democratic Change, a front for the RCD, is trying to manipulate the social discontent, which is real, to divert it in the service of imperialism. This is the case with all movements which, on behalf of imperialism, drape themselves in the mantle of "democratic demands" that are disconnected from the social aspirations of the people and above all from any reference to national sovereignty.
I can't post links yet, but you can find a link to her article at her Wikipedia page. The title is "'Orange Revolution' in Algiers?" and it's reproduced on the blog Pan African News Wire.

and despite knowing all this geis, you said several times that the workers party would win, this time and the last time there was an election in algeria. not to mention why did the workers party participate in the elections if they knew that the elections are rigged? why are they giving legitimacy to rigged elections wich half the voting population did boycott?
in what way do i "promote the neoliberal agenda"? you should've just thrown "ultraleft sectarian" at me that would've been more fitting. unlike your beloved workers party though i dont give legitamacy to rigged elections, try to take over a corrupt bourgois state and trying to establish reforms that would make social democrats proud.

But you're not active politically anyways. The PT should have won seeing as they have twice as many members, as it is, compared with the ruling party. If you can't see that and do the math you're an idiot. You give legitimacy to the election by shaming the PT and myself with your mindless bullshit you fucking moron. Look at the goddamn preliminary polls and the exit polls before you talk shit. Also look up Louisa Hannoune before you act like you know anything about Algeria.

This is why you delude yourself. You constantly inflate the importance of the workers' party, and other organisations you support.
But you're not active politically anyways.
*sigh*
The PT should have won seeing as they have twice as many members, as it is, compared with the ruling party.
Source? (Dutch CDA has twice as many members as the VVD, while the latter is twice as large electorally. Membership =/= electoral popularity).

Grow the fuck up you idiot.

So, ignoring whether the PT "should have" won the presidential election, assuming they did, what would they have done? Obviously the only options are to initiate a revolution, which seems unlikely, or manage Algerian capitalism in some way, as the former Minister for Abandoned Properties used to do.
