They're two different words to describe the same thing, the official ideology of the USSR.

Marxism-Leninism is the "official" word for stalinist. I understand and get that you are new, but I do not understand why exactly "newbies" are so resistant to learning this...
Your user status says "trotskyist" and your tendency is set to "orthodox maoism," but this is a fundamentally confused position. Trotksyists and Maoists don't agree with eachother. Trotskyists view Mao as a "bureaucrat" or a "state capitalist dictator" depending on what type of trotskyist you are asking.
The idea that Marxist-Leninist "ideals" is Marxists are easily and quickly dispelled by Goldner here (http://home.earthlink.net/~lrgoldner/renaissance.html) and the idea that it is Leninist is dispelled here (http://www.international-communist-party.org/BasicTexts/WhatDist.htm).

lol wow That is messed up but I can not agree. Maoism is a poor revolution because of its farmer based army. Maoism influenced many including Che why else would one start with peasents. :grin::laugh::laugh:
