I come from a different culture, so I am confused. Here we have eunuchs ... is transgender simply a western version of that? I am confused.

If a guy likes feminine features (on himself/others), what does it mean?

Also, are transphobia and homophobia inherent to capitalism or are these leftovers of feudal moralism?

Someone who is transgender, as I understand it, is someone whose gender identity isn't congruent with their assigned sex. For example, someone who is born a boy but who identifies and expresses themselves as a girl.

It just means that they like feminine features. It doesn't necessarily mean anything more than that.

I am a boy but prefer smooth, hairless skin, delicate features, long eyelashes, thin eyebrows, slim build. Does that mean I feel like a girl even though I am in a man's body? Or is it just a preference?

hijra is more diverse.

The group consists of intersex, ambiguous, undeveloped, castrates, impotents, transvestites and also transgender.

Transgender means somebody is born in the body that doesn't match their gender identity. This can be surgically altered so the assigned sex matches the gender.

Nope. Just means you prefer those things. Whether or not you identify as a girl is up to you.

I get that, but most girls have these (long eyelashes etc.). So if I prefer these specific features, does that mean subconsciously I am identifying as a girl?

Nope. Gender is a fluid thing. People can be male and identify as male and still have what are considered "feminine" traits. It just means they have/prefer these "feminine" traits.

Plus, what's considered "masculine" or "feminine" is a social construct, and different cultures have different ideas about masculinity and femininity.

Gender identity (i.e. how you feel) and gender expression (i.e. how you present yourself) aren't necessarily strictly related. Personally I identify as a woman but sometimes I also like to present myself in a more androgynous fashion. It should also be noted that transgender includes people who identify outside the male/female binary.
