Hi all,
I know i've not been on here for sometime but I was recently reviewing my political ideas and how they've changed. Last year I would have considered myself an orthodox Marxist, but recently I can't seem to shake off the appeal of Stalinism.
I was wondering if anything similar has happened to anyone here? I mean I'm still in favor of workers control etc but feel that a strong leader (i.e stalin castro lenin etc can work much better in the interests of the people as a whole.
On a side note I have always been strongly in favor of heavily regulating the press and media as well as heavily enforcing smoking bans.
So as I said has this ever happened to anyone here? - where their views can become more attracted to this kind of thought.?
