Quick introduction of sorts.

I'm a member of the CWI on and off for the past number of years (I emigrated to a country with no section).
We have started to build a section recently though and gained momentum.
It's likely that I will not post much and lurk more, but I'm interested in using the website as a source of news and get general viewpoints and analysis of others.

Thanks for having me. :)

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Which country are you in currently? And what's the far left there like?

I'd rather not say for a) Visa reasons b) I'd be identifiable I think.

Weak very weak to point of non-existent, but we've been very busy these past 10 days and have been getting a positive response.

I see you are CWI too, PM me if you are actually interested haha.

Nice name. Welcome.

Thank You!

Welcome to the internet home of the left! ;) We have quite a few CWI comrades here; I'm in the Swedish section, based in Stockholm, myself as my profile indicates. Besides Sweden, at least members from England & Wales, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, the US and Canada post here frequently.

I too have some experience of the hard work with building a section from scratch, in Finland where I regularly travel to help our so far small but growing and developing symp group to organise and intervene in stuff. I'm also on the editorial board of our quarterly finnish newspaper.

Please PM me if you wish to hear more about the work in Finland, or want to discuss your project with someone sort of 'in the same boat' workwise, more privately.
