Ukraine leader Turchynov warns of far-right threat

Ukraine's interim president Olexander Turchynov has condemned the ultra-nationalist Right Sector, saying the group is bent on "destabilisation".
Right Sector activists blocked the parliament (Rada) building in Kiev on Thursday night and smashed windows.
They blamed the interior minister for the killing of a Right Sector leader.
Meanwhile, ousted President Viktor Yanukovych has called for a national referendum to determine each region's "status within Ukraine".
After this and the recent killing of a Right Sector leader, perhaps we can hope for a total divorce between the Euromaidain/new Ukrainian parliament and the open fascists in RS. Unfortunately though, it also gives the RS the opportunity to gain popularity by being the "militant opposition" when Ukraine's new IMF-backed reforms come into effect, with all the unpopular consequences that such measures bring.

even though the pictures of the right sector demo where scary as fuck that fact that "only" 2000 participated was pretty interesting i thought, 2000 is still a lot but actually pretty low for extreme-right gatherings in eastern-europe. lets hope its indicative of their support.

small side note, i heard that russia is at the same time trying to get the "self-defence volunteer groups" in the Crimean to disband which they are refusing, seems that the bourgeois "victors" on both sides have the same problems on trying to reign in what they unleashed.

It may gain RS support - or it may switch said support to Svoboda, the "legitimate" alternative.

Its svoboda's youth group that uses the wulfsangel right? Looking at the pictures they where at the demo too, which was one of the reasons I was pretty surprised of the rather "low" turn out.
