Hello!

My introductions have never been great. I never know what to write. Sometimes I just write rubbish.

Well, I can start with a little bit basic information about myself. I don't want to post to much personal information, but I can tell you that I'm a 20 years old man from Norway.

I will say that I'm pretty "new" to communism, even if I have defined myself as a communist the past two years now. I know in fact that I'm a communist, and I try to learn as much as possible. Unfortunately, there is a lot I don't know yet.

I will define myself as a Marxist–Leninist. I really wanted to contribute to this forum, but I just had to introduce myself first.

I don't really know what more I can write. I like music, I like to read. (Unfortunately no communist manifesto yet, nor Das Kapital or other books related to the topic.)

Maybe I'll figure out more to write later! :)

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

What attracts you to ML politics? Furthermore, I can only highly recommend Capital. After you get used to Marx's literary style, it's a pretty easy read. David Harvey's lectures (http://davidharvey.org/reading-capital/) are also a helpful aide.

Velkommen!

wannabe-Norwegian

What do you mean?

What do you mean?

I'm from Bohuslän. I, in a totally chauvinist way, often try to disassociate myself from Swedish history by calling on the fact that all my ancestors were Norwegian.

Thank you very much! So you will recommend me to start with Capital?
To be honest, I don't have a genuine reason, but I just had to define myself as something, and I felt that Leninism and Marxism suited me best.

I'd be wary to just jump on labels like this. If you're new to the whole thing, the most important thing is to learn, read and discuss. Labels aren't that important. Be aware that you can be thought to have meanings and ideas you don't necessarily want to be affiliated with. When you choose a label like this you also attach yourself to a certain ideology and history.

Well according to many ignorant people here in the States, you guys have already achieved socialism in Norway. So congrats!

Welcome, though. Hope you enjoy.
