Well, hello comrades.

[In case you were wondering, my name is not actually Viktor.]

I am a Communist from the United States of America. I have been studying ideologies for the past years and almost fanatically researching history and keeping up to modern events. In my studies of Enlightenment thinkers, historical revolutionaries, and a number of leftist and rightist manifestos, Karl Marx's work have been most intriguing to me.

With the amount of detail in economics and historical class struggle Marx has taught me in his works, I decided as a teen to leave my watered-down Social Democratic ideology and take on hard-line orthodox communism. When I say orthodox, I mean pre-Leninism and pre-Revisionism. As for political action, I take on Mao's description of revolutionary communism: "Communism isn't love. It's a hammer we use to crush the enemy!"

I don't fancy communism to be some political faction that just "exists" to protest here and there and constantly be condemned as "neo-Soviets". I believe communism is an ever going war, a revolution, until it completely succeeds and brings power to the collective will of the people.

I am extremely analytical in my studies of current events and political science. Some close to me have even said it's bad for my health. They're probably right. And while I don't find my lifestyle a role model for other comrades, it really disappoints me how the only two prominent communist parties is a social-liberal, neo-Soviet puppet of the Democratic Party, the USA Communist Party. And a fanatic cult that reminds me of fiery, zealous preachers, the Revolutionary Communist Party. But they both have one thing in common, the few actions they take, for all their money they spend, has absolutely no effect on public opinion and makes no political progress even near the path of socialist revolution. I see little devotion in these mainstream "communist and socialist" organizations.

But aside from that, that's basically the sum of me. I look forward to sharing with you fellow communists, socialists, anarchists, or otherwise, revolutionaries here on RevLeft.

☭ Until then, Good Day! ☭ ;)

Welcome comrade

Sounds like you know your stuff and will be a good addition to revleft

I share your ideas on communism as a prolonged struggle, we cannot let the class war stagnate until we have completely eradicated class as a phenomena

Greetings
