The abuse of the Irish People continues with a so called "Job Bridge scheme". The Free State Government are forcing people on to Unemployment benefits by taking their jobs from them, they then order people in receipt of unemployment benefits to do that very same job but for a pittance and under threat of loosing their benefits. This is enforced slave labour.
Communists and Republican Socialists are tentatively discussing the viability of exploiting our national networks with the skills our people have amassed over the past 15 years of false economy and to liberate our poor from the shackles of imposed deprivation.
We could use our network to seize Nama controlled but abandoned / unsafe / incomplete properties and make them habitable. There is no reason why they could not be brought to pass official fire/safety and security certificates. There are now unemployed and Republican minded former Accredited certifiers there has to be.
If the properties although initially seized are brought to standard then there can be no issue is Nama not the Government is the Government not the people?
The homeless or those in inadequate housing can be housed, re-housed. Rent allowance can be provided to them by the relevant authority.
If such a logical avenue is sought then that is the contribution made wholly legitimate in the eyes of the Government and a plethora of issues are resolved in the interest of the people. not by the Government but by a vibrant Republican Socialist movement, but, should the Government not want it to be so then unfortunately for the Government those properties have been seized: reclaimed by the people, they are habitable safe and secure all law is adhered to and thus a nonchalant response must come in the form of a people built defense of that housing. We will secure the sites. We must.
Those "employed" are never going to adhere or be asked to adhere to a government slave labour scheme, it just couldn't happen. Beat these rats at their own game.
There are people waiting to be called up to the Republican Movement. Wait no more, become the community by building it and it will elect you it's guardian. We would seek community councils in every community that are outside of the establishment but answerable and accountable to the people and so far as is possible operating within the guidelines the actual council attempts, but not for the establishment interest.
There is no reason why not. Absolutely none.
There is a meeting scheduled in Dublin for March 22nd to grow ideas on how to confront the exploitation of the people.
