Hello comrades, I've been lurking for a while on revleft and would like to take my liberation from bourgeoisie culture a step further :hammersickle:.

So I would like to start by saying capital is dead labor, which, vampire like, lives only by sucking living labor, and lives the more, the more labor it sucks. KM

Which I suppose is a bit like the Labour party of the UK. I'm looking forward to learning and contributing on revleft.

To start my first post I would like to ask what is your view of the late Tony Benn and how would you recommend a beginning in Marxist analysis?

Thanks comrades.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

My views of Tony Benn are only that of a foreigner, so I'll leave it there. As for starting a Marxist analysis: What are you analysing? What are you interested in diving into?

I'm no Marxist so I can't offer much help there, but welcome aboard! I can't wait to see you posting more and more.

Try reading Value, Price, and Profit if you want. That's a good one.

Welcome!

If you're looking for something very basic, I'd reccommend checking out Engel's Principles Of Communism, as well as Value, Price and Profit. Unfortunately, it seems like there's very few good introductory texts for Marxism.
