Seriously, though, I wouldn't mind a few of the thousands of Lenin statues that the FSU/ex-Warsaw Pact has laying around. For the historical value and aesthetics more than anything else.

This is actually one of the most boring ways the thing has been vandalized... You'd think if someone were gonna go to all the trouble (it's a pretty big statue), they'd at least do something better than a bag over the head and a red hand, jesus.

It really goes to show how uninformed people really are when they do things like this. One can probably ask the question of how many people died as a result of capitalism. I'm sure it's more than 100 mil.

I think what's most important is to ask which system is implicitly set-up to put profit before people's lives. This doesn't make my blood boil. But it sure makes me shake my head.
