Though Rich and Famous, they are also a wage slave. And with their position they can easily influence the masses
In this context is it fair to see Obama as a revolutionary class? --- As opposed to other revolutionary classes.
The original SPGB Programme stated that "That as the machinery of government, including the armed forces of the nation, exists only to conserve the monopoly by the capitalist class of the wealth taken from the workers, the working class must organise consciously and politically for the conquest of the powers of government, national and local, in order that this machinery, including these forces, may be converted from an instrument of oppression into the agent of emancipation and the overthrow of privilege, aristocratic and plutocratic." (Policies and Objects of the Socialist Party)
Comrades, considering that Obama is a wage slave and therefore a member of the revolutionary Class and wields power over the executive office of the state,
Does this not mean that in order for the Proletariat to lay hands on the ready-made state machinery and wield it to it's own purposes that it must inspire class consciousness in Obama.
Therefore I propose that the greatest priority for Socialists is to have is to organize a debate between the working class itself and Obama to sway him to Revolutionary Socialism and raise his class consciousness in order for the working class itself to conquer the state. for surely considering that he wields the most political power a proletarian has this means that his struggle has the most revolutionary potential as opposed to reformism which only dilutes our cause. ]
